My family were not believers and iI gave up God with father xmas.Afterxmas. After all if they had told me porkers about santa claus and the tooth fairy they had proberly told porkers about God aswell!!When iI was 9 9, I became ill with at that time an incurable illness.myillness. My eyes turned out to the side,iside, I could hardly walk,iwalk, couldntI couldn't write,iwrite, I bumped into things,mythings & my speech became slurredslurred, and no one could understand me,myme. My head hung down on my chest,ichest. I wrote a poem soon after iI was betterbetter, entitled Look at the prisoner laid on the bed.That was how iI had felt.theyfelt. They told my perantsparents iI would die in my early 30s and iI had to take pills day and night every 4 hourshours, but even then my muscles just did not respond to my mind and iI felt useless.whenuseless.When iI was 14 a young man invited me to church.Therechurch, ithere I heard that there was a man called Jesus who was God.thatGod, that He used to heal people and was still doing so today.itoday.I also heard that if you had faith the size of a mustard seed you could move a mountain!imountain! I went home that night and simply prayed Jesus if your there would you heal me?ime? I am sure iI have as much faith as a mustard seed.amen.seed. wellAmen. Well the next morning iI awoke perfectly normal,nonormal, & no more pills.mypills. My Mum rushed me to the hospital,she couldnt understand what was happening.theyhappening, & they sent particulars and questions to the world health people in Geneva.They wrote back it was a miracle unexplainable in medical terms!!!atterms!!! At this point I was not saved,isaved, I didnt even know what saved meant , but I knew God had healed me.3me.Three years later iI walked into a pentecostal church and heard the gospel.igospel. I was saved,born again.Iagain. I have walked with Jesus now for 40 years(andyears(And it dont seem a day too long as the song says)isays). I know the Lord healed me for a season,nowreason, now iI prefer to say He recovered me and gave me 35 wonderful years in which iI had my daughter(thedaughter. (The doctors had said iI would never have children)andchildren). iI have experienced many things and had a wonderful life here on earth.5earth. 5 years ago my illness came back.but treatment has improved and iI can lead a near normal life.I think the Lord had to slow me down and let me meet some wonderful people who also have myasthenia gravis.igravis. I dont mind abit,iabit, I will be changed and fully healed when iI go to meet Him.iHim.I know that I cant die ever.ohever. Oh my body might if the Lord tarries but I wont.Jesuswont. Jesus paid the price in full for my sins and iI am BORNAGAIN.I WONT DIE , I WILL GO TO BE WITH MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.PRAISEHEAVEN. PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY.
